| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Taken at the entrance to Newcastle Harbour.
Newcastle is an industrial city some 120 kilometres north of Sydney.
I used the auto mode on the camera. The shot was hand held. I used Picassa to straighten the horizon and PS Elements 2 to resize for Trek Lens.
There was no other PP work. |

It looks a little back focused, the rocks in the background are sharper than your subject surfer. Its also a little centered in composition coming right at camera,
Hi Robert. From the drought stricken Monaro to Newcastle is a fair hike. A good capture especially when you are still coming to grips with the intricacies of the new camera. Good colour and light and the surfer IS positioned off centre. Looking at the bow wave I guess he was travelling at a good rate and on my newly resolutioned monitor the sharpness is good. TFS,
David
