Upon Roses
Under a lawn, than skies more clear,
Some ruffled Roses nestling were,
And snugging there, they seem'd to lie
As in a flowery nunnery;
They blush'd, and look'd more fresh than flowers
Quickened of late by pearly showers;
And all, because they were possest
But of the heat of Julia's breast,
Which, as a warm and moisten'd spring,
Gave them their ever-flourishing.

dear Roxanne and Paul,
my simple question is,
after this rose flower would open more fully, this web and the spider can stay there?
anyway,now it is interesting and cheerful scene.
the spider may guard the rose from harmful insects, but in this situation, every bee and other insect cannot come in the rose...
what the rose think about this spider and its web? I don't know...

as an image, the calm light and the soft colors are graceful too.
the delicate essence of this rose and its surrounding air are well captured in it.
I like this mellow tone of colors, it is nice.

Floral is so hard to shoot in my opinion. Especially the white ones. But here you scored big time. Not only you capture the every detail and contrast of the white flower but also the big plus of the web and the spider.

They really completed the shot.
