Looking north across Bondi bay from the swimming pool area. Some of the surfies are paddling out through the small but well shaped waves. The offshore wind carries some spray off the tops of the breaking waves. It is exciting being out in these conditions.

WS has a wide-angle pre-cropped version.

Hi Murray,
good wave action capture. I like the sharp contrast of the alpine white colour against the illuminated blue of the sea.
Best regards, Daniel

Hi Murray,
The wave looks huge...until one notices the surfers on the back of it, quite an illusion.
I do like your composition, particularly the three distinct layers of smooth water, breaking wave and the lone surfer centred in the background.
Well seen,
Pete.

Hi Murray

A superb decisive moment capturing the rolling wave at its peak. Good sharpness & superb colour & saturation. I like the 2 obscured surfers in the mid distance. Tfs!

That's a belter Murray.

Looks like a painting

Great catch! It must've been windy that day, the spray coming off the breaker is impressive!

Even the slightly OE 'sparkles' on the water don't really bother me, I like the drama of this.

Hi Murray,

The capture of the poer of the wave is an asset to the composition. The point of view is allowing us to see the details and colors of the sea. the presence of the surfers goinbg through the wave has an effect of scale. The quality of the light brings out the beauties of the colors. Have a nice day.

Pierre
