High Speed Turn

Ripping in the good conditions on these storm-based waves at Palm Beach. Many of the larger waves were closing out, but some provide a few seconds of very exciting rides for those brave enough to be out.
The WS has a larger wave but the white water is over-exposed. Maybe i need a filter or shade? |

Hi Murry, i tend to use a shutter speed of between 1/500 and 1/1000 to freeze the action and water, you might find this will help with the OE. Great image :)
Regards Mark
Hi Murray,
Fantastic action shot, must have to have strong legs to be up against these waves. Effective use of the zoom. Well seen.
TFS,
Scott.

hi Murray
I like this one of the surfer in action. Very well placed position and the color tone of the water blends well with the white splash of waves. Maybe the brightness, levels and contrast can be increased?
Nice work.
