[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the studio portraits I took of Elena.

My setup was a white translucent umbrella, using flash (remotely) to shoot through. Umbrella was to the front left of Elena and natural light to the right (for balance). Black muslin cloth as the background.

Cropped to 8x10 format as I felt the arm was too dominant. Treated in black & white using b&w styler pro plug-in for CS3. Adjustments to curves and background blackened.

Another nice work. Beautifully soft tonal range - if it was me, I would add more black into the levels mix, but it's the lack of that which gives this shot its beauty, so there's always something to learn for me!
Lovely smile and connection from a beautiful model.
