Joey's Peeping Pouch
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Taken during a trip to Oz in 1994.
This is a recent scan from one of my photo slides. Sorry I cannot provide the photo specifications for this composition. I very likely used ISO 100 slide film.
A baby kangaroo is often affectionately referred to as a 'Joey' hence the title. This one is snuggled very comfortably in his mother's pouch. TFV. |

Oh how cute little Joey is.
Isn't is amazing how these babies can keep curling up in their mothers' pouches like this? They grow so big and keep climbing in!
Nice shot Martyn

Hi Martyn,
an interesting and lovely shot you took.
this baby's face partially hidden its leg looks so happy and full of curiosity to the out world.
an amazing moment is captured in this photo.
thank you,
Akihisa
P.S. I also have lots of films, the problem is in the "scanner", especially the noise...
Nice pic, Martyn, good emotive feeling here. TFS These marsupials are precious for sure. Well done for balance and sharpness.

An amazing photo that I am sure not many photographers have the pleasure of capturing. I have actually never seen a Joey curled up so snugly. Nice detail and interesting angle for the shot too.
