Hi Jeanne
Its a lovely capture that could be enhanced to make it really stand out.

Now this is just MHO. The flower is a bit too centered, that patch of blue and white is distracting, and some sharpness is needed. It does sound like a lot but all this can be corrected in your graphics program.

An A for effort, and keep on going it takes a bit of time but you'll get there.
