[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was doing actor headshots at my place with Carmel, but it seemed to end up going in a more glamour style direction when she put on this dress and had the stylist redid her makeup and hair. I had the fan (it's very hot in Australia at the moment!) and decided to put in on her to get the blowing hair effect. Naturally photoshop has been used to get the image sharp and colourful, and enhancing her skin by smoothing it.

Hi David,
Once again a great fashion portrait.
Nice setup and shooting details. Good use of the fan. It give it extra dynamism. Nice pose on the model part..hand on hip look perfect, relaxe and elegant. Nices finger tips by the way. Position on the left arm just add to contour. one other alternative would have been to ask the model to hold her arm on her back without bulking the shoulder..
to not appear on the frame, but that way here work well..)) Very nice.
On the other hand, i find that the overall image lack density, so i've done a workshop that i will post to show you an alternative point of view.
Nice work.

Nice use of the fan to create the shifting hair, good balanced light and of course a beautiful subject.

You've worked the genre well.

This is a wonderful portrait David. Very good control of the light. The subject has a nice pose and beautiful smile. Nice work on the color and skin tones. Well done.

Great shot (having a beautiful model helps). I like the effect of the fan on her hair.
