My first post @Treklens! I bought my first digital SLR recently and im still trying to figure out how to use it properly... this is my first attempt in the lovely New farm park in Brisbane.
I just added a frame in photoshop and the picture is just like it is, didnt adjust anything on it..
Welcome any comments...

Welcome to TrekLens Jellianne!
Well for a first post I find this delightful. A lovely spread of brightly coloured flowers, taken from an interesting POV with good colours and detail. I especially like the closed flower heads.
One point to remember with any photograph is that often - simpler is better. That's why shots of a single flower against a dark background can so much more powerful than shots of many flowers.
Great post, thanks for sharing!

Hi Jellianne.
Welcome to TrekLens.
Very nice composition. I like the repartition of the opened and closed flowers (it would have been easy just to take the opened one). The only thing I find weird is those petals with white at the tip. Is this because those flowers are older than the others ?
Anyway, for a firts picture on TL, the future seems promessing. ;-)
