Hibiscus

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the first flower to appear since I pruned the hibiscus recently.
I brought it into the house and experimented using different settings to photograph it against black card.
I have sharpened, adjusted levels and added the frame. |

One of my favourite flowers to photograph. I think you have a fabulous shot here. Nice crisp detail on the stamen, good bokeh, neutral background, and just about perfect exposure.
Regards,
Kristian

I think this is your best so far. The DOF has kept the whole flower in sharp focus. The side view is novel and the composition just right.

Hi Jean
This is quite beautiful. Nice and sharp, super colours and details too. It looks great against the dark background too.
I like your frame as well

Great image - unusual pov made me open the image up full and I am very glad I did! The exposure is really spot on imo.

Hi Jeanne
You made it look like something calm came out of a storm. Fun to show it this way.
Cheers
