[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There is a real shortage of golf shots on TL, so here is one from the Mirage Country Club in Port Douglas, Australia.

To non-golfers this may look like a bad shot but its an example of good ball striking where the club-face contacts the ball then takes a divot after the ball has been struck.
(The red thing in front is the Ladies tee marker)

Now for the real boring bits
the right heel comes off the ground as the hips rotate towards the target. The spine angle has been maintained as the right shoulder comes through underneath the left. The head is starting to come up well after impact and the arms are extended down the line.

You obviously know of what you speak Jack!! Great description .. and a great shot. Colors are really great, and a great moment of the action captured, with the ball and divot in the air.
You're right .. there is a shortage of golf shots on TL. I love to watch golf on TV, have done a little myself, but not enough to call myself a golfer.

Nicely timed! How many shots did it take to get this? ;-) Hard lighting but captured the action well.

Hi Jack,
A perfect strike from him, and a perfect shot from you! Nicely captured, the fast shutter speed has frozen everything nicely. Good POV, the lighting seems great - as do the colours and clarity. Looks like he's wearing a NZ shirt :).
