This one ought to be B/W!
On our way to Cape Tribulation on Cpt. Hook Highway I spotted this abandoned (well, I guess it is) cottage next to the road and (yet another) sugar cane plantage. I was fascinated by the 'nearly' rotten state of the wood and its 'special' grace.
Due to the fact it was afternoon I had to pick a shot with the sun high up in the sky. So I had no choice and not the possibility to get the right ambient mood for this house.
So I decided it has to bee B/W. Voilá
Tech talk
Created a pseudo HDR with three different exposure settings ranging from -2 to +2. Afterwards changed it to B/W, added a touch of sepia (color saturation at 7%) and a really small vignette. Frame. Done
