I love train shots especially with lots of biloowing smoke, pity the train isn't a little closer, a tighter crop would fix that.

It's hard to judge shots of moving trains, they always look bigger in the viewfinder, and it's all to easy to take the shot too soon. Your comp is good, and would be even better if the left hand rails lead directly into the corner of the shot: And the engine is centered in the frame - not a problem if it's hauling a train - but this one isn't. You have captured the smoke very well, and you chose a good pov for your shot.
