Hi Christine,
Very nice and warm colors are the first attraction factor, but the composition and the tech details support the first view. You have proposed a very nice shot.
Personnaly, I would crop the right and left sides to keep the central part that is so magnificient. Respecting the rules of third, then I would crop a bit of the bottom then sharpen to compensate. See the WS as a suggestion.
Still, your picture is gorgeous.

Nice shot Chris. I also think Denis' WS has a lot going for it - who would have thought a portrait layout version of this landscape would be so successful?
