The notice fits fine into the theme. It was quite hard to get the right picture... I love the words: Ballroom / Latin / Funk!! Good variety.
It is a pity about the OOF mark - I would have cropped off that area above the lower step and it would have looked a lot better

Hello David,
Hard to eliminate unwanted elements while taking photo in a car. But this is most appropriate for the Friday theme. Pablo has coined the term 'drive and snap' which he did with good regularity before. I do hope you are feeling better, we are pulling for you. Best regards, Danilo

Wonderful for the Theme and amazing selection of dance that the studio provides. Difficult to compose from the car and yet wonderful shadows and colors.

Hi David,

You could just have cropped of the bottem part of the picture, because it's a funky addition for the theme. You have caught a lovely dance of light and shadow playing on that purple sign showing an abstract couple enjoying their dance.

Hi David,
Good idea for the theme. The part of the shot that's clear is super clear with great lighting and detail on the bricks and stone. Good work on the high whites against the other darker areas of the photo.
Shots out of car windows can be tough indeed, can't always get the angle needed but some post could have helped with the very distracting OOF in the foreground without, I think, ruining the composition or aesthetics of the shot.
I took a crack at a WS to help hide the OOF.

I had a similar problem of not having anything appropriate - lucky about my local birds!!

This is a very well taken shot, especially in the circumstances. The details are sharp, the light is good and the angle, just right.

I agree with Janiice, I would have cropped the oof area.

I just love the text on the board: ballroom, Latin and FUNK!! I want to see that dance introduced to 'Strictly Come Dancing'!

hello David

I find the light+shadow a good theme contribution and your idea of the shadow and light dancing with this signboard title interesting thought. The shadow from the tree should be dancing around.

From my experience the blur at the FG is most likely due to some object in front or near to the lens and a crop of the steps would help.

Good shot for the theme, David:) I like how the strong blue stands out, complimented by the white and the brickwork around it. I suppose you could crop the bottom enough to eliminate more of the ghosting, and the workshop idea would camouflage the remainder. The composition works well to present your concept successfully. Good use of light and shadows. Were your feet tapping with an urge to dance?:) Nice shot:)

I'm not sure about this one David! The "thing" in the way at the bottom is very distracting for me. I usually delete these types of photos. I see "movement" also in the pic. Not one of your best. Too bad you can't shoot the fog from the car! Nex time Buddy, but you get a greenie for effort!
