The first fog for winter and a walk along the boardwalk in the opposite direction I normally take. I took the Boardwalk image standing near the second bench and looking back the other way. The apartment buildings form part of the Peppers Resort complex which is built on the banks of the North Esk River just before it enters the Tamar Estuary. The sun (hidden by the fog) was straight ahead of me when I took this.

The blue trimaran was last seen here, once again in the workshop the original image.

I like the pinkish colour of this shot. Goes with the quotation. I happen to like Klee a lot.

The fog always gives an extra beauty to the scene David. Those pastel colours are very pleasant to look at,

Hi David,

The repetition in the houses and the lines made by the boardwalk really work. It's amazing how you can make such a sharp and colourful image in foggy conditions. Love what you did here (again).
Yes it sure looks that winter has arrived!

Hello David
A peaceful view that suits well to a sunday morning!
Despite the fog, there is much to be seen: First, I feel welcomed by the inviting perspective of pier for a walk in town to inspect the particular architecture of houses, and then I might take a walk on lower dock by the blue lady!
Thanks for the perfect verticality of street lamps and mast and for the hint on photography by foggy weather.
Have a g'day
Robert

Hey David,
Is it ever clear and sunny there? :0) Just kidding, of course. :)
Once again, this is very nice work in the fog, so sharp and yet soft. I really enjoy the muted colors and the whole feel you present in these images.
The perspective here is a good one and very inviting. Nice POV leads to that.
Thanks for sharing,
Wilt

beautiful POV of this place David, a dream like image created by the fog above the houses.sharp and detailed as well.

Hi David,
The fog here created a nice soft effect and a sense of depth. I like the way you lined up the rail as your lead-in towards the end of the frame. The houses also has a delightful repeating patterns. Well captured and composed. tfs

Another superbly moody image. I love this one because it's something closer to the real life I can relate to -- houses, instead of boats

hello David,
a nice atmospheric shot. I like that the pink sky is matched by the pinkish handrail that acts as a lead line.I like that the composition is all about angles too.

Once again you take a foggy day and turn into something special. I am amazed at how sharp the boardwalk turned out. You obviously are a pro with your software when it comes to knowing exactly the right mix. Wonderful as always my friend of many faces.
Warm Regards
Wanda

Again one of your lovely soft shots taken in the dense fog. You are just an expert at these type of shots David and they are always so pleasing to look at with the lots of atmosphere captured.

Then of course also your informative notes and thought-provoking quotes.

Hello Dear David
A superb capture seen from a terrific POV.
The foggy atmosphere with not a soul in sight except the empty bench creates a very desolate and lonely mood.
A trueblue capture.

Hi David,
Very atmospheric photo! I could like to stroll on this jetty in a such foggy day! I like much the faded colors and the low light passing throught the mist. Very well done! Annie

Hi David,
It does appear that this place is a nice place to walk and live. The fog is an attractive element, the planks are effectively positioned, and the pink sky is nice. Best regards, Danilo

Hi dear friend,
interesting light and textures in your shot.
Some kind of mystery in it. well done!

Hola David,
perfecto trabajo y hermoso pov,
equilibrio de tonos.
buena composición.

Hello David,

You keep getting some very good impersonaters in your Intro!
I found it really interesting to look at your original and note how it had changed to the posted shot.
I really do love these 'foggy' photographs. They contain atmosphere and, for me, provoke memories.
The pov, using the handrail to great effect, the details, the composition and the pinky sky, all work together to produce a very good shot.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi David,
We walked along a boardwalk today that looks similar to this one, but it was too hot to stop for pictures. A beautiful glow in the sky, and it's nice to see your characters (the blue trimarin) in different scenes.
Sunday is Father's Day here; I'll wish you a nice one,
Karen

The fog always gives an extra beauty to the scene David. Well done.

Hi David,
