Recent pain in one hip means I will have to start showing not so recent photos from my collection. Although x-rays did show some damage as yet it is not bad enough to warrant surgery. I have been out a couple of times this last week but extended walks are now out of the question.

Another image from the 6th June this year the same day as Not Floating and Boardwalk I were taken, once again the original image can be seen in the workshop.

Hi David, hope you are not too long before you are back in good shape,I hope you pain is not to severe & not to restrictive as to effect your daily life.
This is a perfect image to my eyes,& I really enjoy viewing the mood you have captured here.I was a little surprised that you would have a noise issue with the camera settings & low ISO of 65,I learn something everyday.

Bonsoir David
what beautiful processing program you have done with the software Paint Shop Pro to get the improvement that leads us to contemplate your shot. A real marvel that scene.
Heartily, Corinne

I hope the rest calm hip problems which you are suffering. I doubt that you have in reserve many photographs that you will show us. I know how despite everything, that is frustrating not being able to have all their health to go make new photographs.

Hi David,
I am so sorry for your health problems! I hope the weather will be better. The humidity is not good for you!
I am sure that you have many beautiful photos like this one in your files. I like the diffuse light throught the fog. As usual, your post treatment is so well done. Thanks and bravo! Annie

Hi Davd - this almost reminds me of a painting by Turner. Again you have managed to capture a lovely atmosphere in an excellent composition. An interesting shot that is both uncluttered and yet has lots to keep you interested - very nice shot.

(very sorry to read about your hip issues....good luck with that and hope the situation improves...)

Boa noite sailor man

I am so sorry to hear of your pains Dave. I just hope you don't have to wait too long until something can be done.
Do you know what? EVERYTIME I hear of a fog, or see fog photos, I think of you :)

This is another lovely foggy image. It looks so mysterious how the fog thickens in the distance - wonderfully captured

Hello David,

I'm so sad to hear of your disabilities. I'm sure the damp conditions will not help! I hope you will be soon improved.

This is an excellent shot. You know my opinions on these misty, harbour shots.
This one reminds me of a display by a sailing enthusiast: all the boats arranged on a glass topped table!
Good details and just enough colour fade in the distance. Very well composed.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello David
Stunning capture.Magic atmosphere.Lovely colours and reflections.
Hope you feel great soon.
Friendly greetings

Hello David,

Hi David

A moody and atmospheric shot with good repetition of the boats. I hope your hip mends well soon. Tfs!

Your pastel tones are really nice in this shot David! Love the closer look at the boats! I feel a little tilted this morning (could be that I got up at 4:51AM).... I did a WS for fun..

Hi David,
What a beautiful foggy composition as usual,!! Great shot and beautiful light and contrast, lovely colors and sharp picture, I love the reflection..
Excellent done.
Michel :)

Considering the fog it's a surprisingly sharp photo... Nicely composed and exposed. Good work.
David

Hi David,
It is a treat to see your Tamar series. You certainly are quite good in incorporating the atmosphere and fog in your composition. Sharp and the exposure is quite ideal. Greetings! Danilo

hello David

The misty morning fog condition adds a splendid flavor to this marina view and you have captured it well under dim light at 1/125s to show clarity and sharp details esp 2 boats at FG. A fine post.

I hope you will recover and get well soon.

tfs, bill

Hi David,

I want you to be engulfed in fog all time, which I am sure is not good for your lungs, but oh, how beautiful moments like this are, or shall I say how beautiful you make them to be...

TFS
Els

Very neat picture, I love how you were able to capture the fog in the shot as well, great shot very beautiful, TFS.
