Hi David,
Lovely pose, how could you not love this little guy.
A really good one for thr theme.
Pete.

He seems really thankful for his meal, isn't he? He is really cute. Really beautiful shot. I really like the blue bowl that seems to give the only bright color in the shot.
Thank you for sharing\
Kind regards
Elena

Hello David
What is most admirable, on top of your work, is the perfect balance of the two light sources for very detailed mid-tones all around the fur.
Try skin bones; they're harmless for gums!

oh that's so cute! that is one clever dog you have there, ours don't do that at all, all she does when we bring out her dinner is running in a circle!!!

Great shot for the theme!

Have a great weekend,

is he praying or pleading? i want to pinch your dog, David.. so cute.. a lovely catch at dinner time.. well done on the composition.. the pose is classic..

regards, terry

Real cute David!!! perfect for the theme, and very well exceuted!
well done.
Thanks. LuDivine

a nice way to teach a pet to sit, hold off on their food a minute or two. i'm sure i will beg also. details are good. your desaturation on the bowl is one way to focus on the theme. well done.

This is absolutely the worst "doggie porno" I have ever seen! Disgraceful pose!.... ok, you got me on the cuteness factor! I shall sheild my eyes and try to move on! LOL! LOVE the blue bowl! Nice work, you went the extra mile here, as I didn't even consider a spot of color!
Nice work David and you should be ashamed!

... whenever I noodle around in PS, I never remember exactly what I did. You are pretty precise in your steps. Just wondering if it is necessary so complicated? If you convert to b/w, can't you just pop the dish out with the history brush? (however, it doesn't work if you crop)
Cheers
Otto

Hello David

A very nice contribution to the theme. Thanks for your detailed description of the good PP work. (Wink) I think I would have cloned out the bar code on the bowl LOL) Nice work!

Hi David

What a cheeky looking fellow. I love that pose, it is a real classic. Sharp and well composed

Karan

Good composition (and a good pose from your model) and I like the idea of the saturated food bowl - I know my dogs see their bowls as being the most colourful things in the mornings and evenings!
Thanks for sharing
Mark

Hello David,

I can see a funny little fellow, well trained too!
This is a fine composition, and the hopeful expression of the dog is well captured...

Greetings,
Pablo -

Tooooooo cute! Our dog Perky, which was similar to this photo would actual whine out the phrase: "Want some!" Or at least that what we thought he was saying!
