[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"They call me Mellow Yellow" and yes it is the song my mother hummed when my father had his way with her. He too was yellow and had the same ‘chequered’ eyes as I have but my mother was pretty in pink. It runs in the family you know! I am sitting here on my favourite yellow leaf watching spiker to launch me into Cyberspace – and loving it!

Good morning Helmut,

This is terrific. This is so perfect for next Friday's theme. I hope someone remembers to attach this to the theme link when Helen opens it on Th. The butterfly's compound eyes are well defined, the antennaes are spread beautifully, and texture on the wing is evident. I like the serrated leaf on the f/g. A posting you should be proud of.

I just had a quick stroll of your gallery and I must say I am very impressed. Your gears are similar to mine, and your genre of photos appeal to me, and so I expect to visit often.

My compliments,
Danilo

great shots.

Hi Helmut,

Great addition to the theme...very mellow and yellow....I'm intrigued though, 4 secs and this sharpe. My attempts at photographing butterflies always seem to end in failure as I can never get them to sit still for long enough....how do you manage it!

Regards,

John

Hello Helmut

Wow!!!.... I am amazed and I agree with Danilo
the look is fantastic, so much in the details of the wings, as
in his antennas, it is wonderful the capture and definition!
Beautiful the light molding the part beside her.
Fabulous!!!
Congratulations!
