Hi Dave,
I don't do halloween either but thought I should still find something to enter the theme.
Good PP work - all you need are a few hundred spider webs in the trees and it would be real scary!!
Cheers
Janice
Hi David,
Slowly Halloween starts being celebrated here, but it pure commercial interest and no real tradition.
This sure looks spooky anough to fit the theme - nice font you used here in the frame!

A very interesting posting for a scary Halloween image, my friend of many faces. I know you do not celebrate there, but I understand that the commercialization is giving it a big boast down there. Great PP work and very interesting colours, I wonder how it would look in Orange and black the "traditional" colours. Well done .
Warmest Regards

Good morning David,
The isolated branches appear like veins, reminds me of an image created from fractal math, and shows well against the red bricks. My best regards...Danilo

I really liked the original of this, a very pretty tree but you've done some great pp work. It looks very spooky, and a very good addition to the theme. TFS

Hello David,
Hallowe'en is sure to be picked up by Australasia because of such quick intercontinental links. It used to be quite low key here in the U.K., a few witches, pumpkin lanterns and spooky stories or poems. Now, there are ghost masks (some with dripping blood), devils, bats, and ghouls as well as the previous items. Trick or Treat has been adopted from America, as well! It is all big business for the retailers! They produce spherical cholates and sweets on the bloodshot eye theme! Yuk!
Antway, back to your shot! It fits the horror of the theme because of your pp work and spooky font. It appeared to me, like electricity surging through a blood red tree!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello my friend David
Blod is oozing from the spooky tree and spills allover on the haunted castle, so I can feel the evil spell!
I put a (good) curse on you!

Halloween or not, this image is very interesting and has great eye appeal:) Love the pp work for the red/pink/white look. I also like the line detail of the tree branches against the geometrics of the brick and windows in the background. Nice work!

hi David
Without the WS, I really could not interpret this abstract artwork except the branches and windows. Although Thanksgiving is probably more meaningful than Halloween, I really did not appreciate this event that much.
Imagine my HORROR when one fine Halloween night, I was brought to a cinema to watch the 'Rocky Horror Picture Show'! I was shocked! The candles, costumes, punched papers, corns and toilet paper inside the theatre! And people moving about!
Not knowing about Halloween a long time ago, my 1st month in Canada ended up in eggs being thrown at my window when I was asleep that evening. Children dressed up in costumes/masks came to the door expecting candies and goodies. The years that followed, I made sure I bought a lot goodies for the children's expectations. But I wonder if Halloween is more associated now with children's mischief on this day to have fun.
Have a nice weekend.
tfs, bill

Ciao David
Beautiful compo for the theme of Halloween
I like drawings of the branches as if they were
in negative alone them!
For here we don't also have this tradition, because her
it is of the countries of the north, then not a lot what to comemorate, just
to observe the beautiful post!
Congratulations, I like the color and atmosphere for the event!
Greetings!
