[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Life as a railway crossing signal can be a fairly difficult existance at times.

Not only do you have to perform the role in all sorts of weather extremes, it is necessary to be ready to go into action at all hours of the day and night.

Having said that, the benefits of knowing that you perform such a vital community service probably outweighs any negatives.

As well as that, the constant stream of visitors that come by rail and road would always be most welcome.

This signal was captured waiting for its next period of service.

(Please note that the medication should kick in again soon!)

PP: levels and saturation adjust, addition of red to crossing lights, blur / smudge / Gaussian Blur to reds, addition of a few of the stars (some already in the original), frame.
