[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here's another of the Brighton beach huts, taken yesterday when taking the kids for a walk.

This shot was taken about 20 mins before sunset, when the sun briefly shone through the clouds. This made these clouds above look dark and ominous.

1/125 sec @ f/6.3 and ISO200. Adjusted curves and increased contrast and saturation in PS. I find you have to do this when shooting in RAW on the Nikon. Re-sized, sharpen and simple border.

Hi Philip,
A nice capture of these beach huts with wonderful sunset cast!
A pleasant warm atmosphere despite the grey huge clouds.
Fabulous exposure and sharpness where every details in the woodwork is visible.
A good POV with an excellent DOF.
A clean presentation.
Best regards,

Francis Xavier

Hello,

Hello Philip!
Nice point of view, beautiful gold light and very dramatic sky!
Perfect sharpness!
Best regards!

Really like this one, Philip - great capture of a singular moment. The huts glow with the golden sunset and the row of them leads the eye on a gentle diagonal through the frame. The sky is really dramatic in the background. Amazing color, nicely composed, sharp details. Great one.

Great one Phil. Love the warm glow of the late day sun, and the way it lights up those huts. Great diagonal row of huts. The clouds are really dramatic, and add a lot to the whole scene.
Great job.

Philip
Great work. The bright refection from the huts show a lot of detail and creates contrast between the dark beach and sky.
Well done and TFS

Hi Philip,
Hey, awesome late eveing light here set against a very dark evening sky. The diagonal lines add strong impact to the striking contrasts of colors and lines. TFS. Gerald

This has given me inspiration for a photo, I saw some boat sheds when I was out today and the late afternoon sun should hit them just right.

Nice warm colours and great POV. The angry clouds add drama to the photo.

contrast of light, contrast of tones, repetitive patterns, perspective, framing, i don't see any negative point in this shot, the post processing is well managed, result is eye catching, good looking etc... nice!
