Here's another photo from the holiday up north. This time, the sun has made an appearance. I liked the silhouette of the palm tree against the morning sun.

Great time to be out with a camera!

Hi Philip,
Awsome POV to view this beautiful sunrise in the warm north part of Australia. Good positioning, the rising sun has interesting colour. Good job, Keep it up! TFS
Best wishes,
Kristof

Hi Philip,
Fabulous silhouette! Very well composed and exposed, congrats!

Lonely sunset scenery,Lone coconut tree and walking man create a lonely feeling.Strong line that came from glare lead to subject and silhouette from coconut tree also a well combination of thi scene too.Good work,TFS.

a very splendid sunset down under.
nice silouhette of the coconut tree, it gives that
paradise theme. well done.

Nice compo - I think the flare's effective here, if I had a gripe it would be the spot of light amongst the palm leaves... Use clone tool for that.
Nice sunrise shot...... Good to have the figure in too, gives a sense of scale.

Is this the beach we visited back in the 80's?

That's an interesting effect with the sun's refection and the glare; very effective with the silhouette of the palm. As it's winter there I suppose you were looking North of East towards the sun? (not long after the shortest day).WK, it is the beach we stayed at in the 80s
