This photo was taken in Kakadu National Park.
I put the small photo in the top corner to show the background that was used for the light painting.
The method is very simple. Set the camera on a tripod, lock the shutter open, at f8, and with a flash gun and some coloured filters, do a painting on the rocks. There was also some torch painting as well in this photo.
So long as there is no other light around in the area, this can make a great fun shot.
