This Photo was taken in the far North West corner of Northen Territory.
It is a very small flower about as round as a cigaret..
I ask of any one that can tell me what sort of flower it is ... One work mate claims it is some type of Poppy

Hi Lance, I have no iddea what it is - Poppy? I wouldn't think so, but I could be wrong.
Very good sharpness for such a multi-petalled flower. Beautifully captured, and the colours are good too,
Thanks for sharing,
Janice
Hi Lance,
Looks more like an explosion :) Nice color combinations and details. Perfect DOF. Center composition suited it very well. TFS.

Hi Lance,
A fine shot of this pink explosion! The photo data isn't shown, but you might improve these kind of pisture even more when using high aperture figurs f/16 and beyond. Anyway a superb presentation my friend. Job well done and TFS.

Hi Lance, taken out there in the desert I would say it is more likely to be an everlasting. They grow profusely in the drier areas and come in a variety of colours. Excellent capture, good detail and lovely colours. TFS,
Dave
Hi Lance, This keeps the score one up for the plant because I have no idea what it is either but gee it is so pretty and makes a lovely photo.
