[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the heart of Australia's red centre is Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, a huge ochre monolith that is one of Australia's most famous landmarks. The traditional owners don’t like you to climb it, so I walked around it instead. The 'Uluru base walk' is 9.5km long and takes 3-4 hours. And this is what it looks like.

Framed, resized and lightly sharpened.

Fantastic colors and a very pretty scene!! And what an interesting place!!! I'm impressed. TFS

Hello Stephen,

Incredible colours in your beautiful composition. Congratulation

Best regards,
Sorina

Hello Stephen,
Strong colours and the landscape is amazing!
Maybe first time I see Uluru from this particular angle...
The point of view makes the blue sky as a fine background for the tree!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Stephan,
beautiful compo, beautiful harmony of the green and orange.Congragulations.Nrcla.

Excellent Stephen and as Pablo says not the usual angle for a shot of Uluru. Good natural colours and fine detail. TFS,
David

Dear Stephen - Now, this is certainly one of MY favourites (as I told you long before you posted it). The colours are few, strong and natural. The big tree in the foreground is what adds momentum to your composition in that its crown is nicely portrayed against the beautiful azur sky. Nearly half of the image is filled by that bit of base of Uluru with its beautiful, rich, red earthen colour. The diagonal line of the monolith adds an elegant dimension to your composition. Well seen!
I hope to return there again together with you asap! L, c.

Great contrast between the blue sky and red earth. I love that definition.

Splendid colours and great composition, I'd love to go there one day ! Compliments !
Cheers,
Cath.

The colors of Oz Stephen.
Wonderful job.

I thought it must be Uluru from that colour and the steepness. I haven't been there, but have seen many photos of it. I believe it is quite dangerous to climb too.
Good shot Stephen, well composed and good sharpness

Hi Stephen,
Great intense coloured picture; I like the nice contrast between land and vegetation, very caracteristic from your land (only I see it in TV or photo :(.... )
Nice job

Hi Stephen,

This one is my favourite picture from your collection of Total 4 Pictures at the moment.

There is a lot to see in the picture. I will count it as 3 pictures in One.

1. The mountain on the left.
2. The Tree (Your Subject)
3. The Path on the right (My Best)

Everything is clear and picture taken is from the right angle. Colours are simply Beautiful.

Well done and TFS.

With best regards,
Muhammad Usman Ali

Stephen, this is an unusual and very effective shot that somehow gives a better feeling for the size of Uluru (I never knew the local name before) than all the traditional shots which show the whole rock. Fantastic colours as well. Thanks for this one. Regards, Les
