I took the opportunity to stop off in Uluru. Wow, this place is really remarkable. We were blessed with beautiful winter days with blue skies and highs of 22C. I wanted to start off with an "establishing" shot of the rock, yet still take a bit of an interesting take on it.

Hello,
very eye caching photo, beautiful colors of the rock, great shot
regards
Ryszard

Have always been interested to see that big rock ... you certainly captured it from the right angle at the right time of day - and refreshing that you didn't deliver the usual, clichéd view. I like!

Hi Mike,

Well photographed. Awesome POV and composition. THe colours and clarity are astounding and your photo a credit to this impressive outback iconic location.

Simply awesome! TFS.

Hi Mike,
Beautiful capture of this famous natural landmark o Australia, the red tones of the huge Ayers Rock is unique and looks unreal. Good sharpness and light, stunning view. My only negative remark would be about the titles at the corner, I do't think that fits there. But overall xou did a great job, I like your composition, TFS!
Besz regards,
Kristof

I like your POV of Uluru, it is often photographed and most present very "hohum" veiws so I dont comment. This is nice, You were there at the right time to bring out the rich colour and I like the contrast of the shadows, really nice Mike.

Hi Mike,
Nice one here! Excellent light and wonderfully contrasting colors - the reds the blues - very nice. Not quite as sharp as it might be but very well done. TFS. Gerald
