Uluru is an amazing place. The rock is really impressive, but what surprised me the most was the verdant life around the rock, likely from th ewater coming off the rock. Grat hiking trails around it, too.

wow... love this view Mike!
I think this is one of the rare occasions we get to see a different view than the "standard" one we usually get of the whole rock.
I really think it's nice to see something different this time.
The colors of this image are amazing... it could easily be printed in (or even on the front) of a magazine.
