A Timeless Piece.
This pocket watch was taken again in the kitchen (it has great natural lighting), using black velvet as the BG, the face cover of the watch was removed to get a clearer view of the face, contrast has been increased slightly, photo was resized and framed.
I love antique objects, makes you wonder who owned this orginally?
Thanks for looking, enjoy your day/night
Tracey
-------------------------------------------------------
A pocket watch usually is a strapless personal timepiece that is carried in a pocket. The display is traditionally analog. Pocket watches generally have a chain to be secured to a waistcoat, lapel, or belt loop (the chain or ornaments on it being known as fobs), as well as a hinged cover to protect the face of the watch. Such covers are not always present. |

I agree on your thoughtd regarding old things, sometimes wish they could tell the whole story
TFS regards Helen
Hi, Tracy,
Nice shot and good title. Actually, it reminds me of one of the most romantic O'Henry's short stories- The gift of the Magi.

Hello Tracey
A rare jewel, hardly sees her more for here, formerly still we could see some people removing these clocks of his pocket to see the hours, today they disappeared.
great nostalgia!
Congratulations for the beautiful look!
