Fishermen's Wharf, Albany
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Night shot of the fishermen's wharf at Albany (near Emu Point). It was cold and drizzling slightly that night. Tried fishing (for King George Whiting) without success.
(Camera was mounted on a high bench for stability, exposure set at 10 secs and shutter activated by remote control.) |

Wow Gao,What a beautiful reflections a,I love the harbor atmosphere with fishermen and their coloured boats, but it's sad when they have not success...
only I don't like the spotted light of the lamps, but it's a small particular.
Very well seen.

Serwus Gao!
Excelent night foto. Superb theme.
Reminds me lyric of Trawlerman's Song written by Mark Knopfler:
We're taking on water
Diesel and stores
Laying up awhile
Before I'm back on board
They're patching her up
To go fishing again
They're welding her rudder
Scrubbing her keel
Scars on her belly
Need time to heal
In the dock
With the trawlermen"
Great clarity, peaceful atmosfere. Time for a rest after, probably, hard workin' day.
Respect!

Excellent light control in this compo Gao. Great reflections of the silent water and very fine sharpness. Very good.

Great night shot Gao, nice lighting, a bit soft on focus, but well composed. Great reflection on the water, it look like a calm and warm night. Very well done, TFS

Well it doesn't look cold or wet there Gao. The reflections have come out so well and excellent lights too. Really great shot.
