[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I visited Busselton in the south west of Australia, and from there I dived on HMAS Swan. The ship was scuttled a number of years ago, and has been specially adapted for safe penetration (oo-er). It was a nice, relaxing dive, although the weather was a chilly 18 degrees (centigrade, that is). There were only two of us diving that day, myself and another instructor, whom I used as my subject for this shot.

It is normally necessary to do a fair bit of post production for underwater shots – mainly regarding the colour levels. The water filters colours out of the light, beginning with red. Unless a red filter or a strobe (flash) is used, one has to add red to the images to produce a more natural effect. On this shot, however, I have done nothing other than crop the image slightly.

Well framed contours Serena

Good catch here with the black silhouette against the blue and well framed in a 'natural' frame.

Good photo in the Swan. Tricky to get a good capture down there. Heard about it but first photos to date. Keep up the good work and stay safe on your trips. Hope you post some pic from Great Barrier Reef one day.
