[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Geranium is in my back yard. I have a new photo program (Paint Shop Pro 8) that I have experimenting with. It is my first attempt at layering, so no doubt you will find obvious flaws. The colour of the flower is untouched and original, but only the background I have changed. I tried in vain to leave the colour in the bulb at the bottom of the flower, but I guess I'll have to keep trying. Anyway, hope you are not too hard on my forst attempt.
I'd appreciate if anyone has experience with PSP to give me some advice on how to improve. Thanks.

Unfortenatnly i don'thave much experience with PSP. I have tried to work with layers and layer mask there but didn't manage to figure it out. But, my guess is still that a layer mask would be the alternative. You did not mention how you changed the background. Did you paint it or did you use another method? The photo though is good.

Hi there. I like the effort here. Also new to pp work. I just notice that it is a little soft, but don't have any help in that program. Tim
