[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I came across these stairs quite by accident. They descend 45m at a gradient of 1:2. As I was photographing the stairs the thought occured to me that when I show my friends the first question would be "did you go down the stairs". So down them I went - that was the easy bit.
The surf was rough, the sun beginning to set and the feeling was awesome. That wasn't too hard to take. Then I looked up. The climb required quite a bit of leg work.

A road to heaven, also if it descends! :-)
POV is stunning and gives a strong depth to the whole image.
I also think shadows add a plus value.

Ciao, Antonella

I like very much your POV in this picture.
It is colorful and well framed.
I understand how easy is to get down there especially cause of the lovely beach. But then, who would climb back again?

Hi Stephen,
it seems of being in a dream.. Well done dear friend! TFS.
Greetings from Italy.

Be no good for me Stephen and my 65% lung capacity. I may get to see these steps if and when I visit my birth state, my sister and her husband have retired to Albany. Good colour and light and well composed. TFS,
David
