[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was quite stuck by the appearance of this bird. I'd not seen one like it before. This was just one of many that visit the tourist attraction (a large climbing tree). This one nicely posed for me, hoping for some rewards I presume. I was later informed that in some places they are a real pest. I saw many more as I moved around this part of Western Australia.

This is an beautiful picture off this bird,
Like it,
Gr, Jacqueline

Hi Stephen, a pest indeed. A fine specimen of the twenty eight parrot(Barnardius zonarius semitorquatus). Well cropped and as close to natural colour as you will get. TFS,
David

Hi Stephen, What an attractive bird! And he certainly is putting on a fine pose for you too! Well done. TFS. Cheers, Pat.

Beautiful.
The flash light really brings him out.
