I am used to fogs but never capture them! This one gives a mysterious impression! What is lurking in the fog....Nice shot!

Hi David,
this is beautiful, I love this quiet and peaceful atmosphere and the softness in your post, thanks
Sabine - wishnugaruda

Wonderful colors and compo. The glow is a bonus and really brings out the contrasts!
Well done! TFS.

what a beautiful country you have david

Nice capture with great light at the back. Where I stay we seldom have fog as well but the mountains and the lowveld area is well-known for fog during summer.

Hi David, this is beautifyl. The sun and the fog give a wonderful feel to the scene. I'm not used to figs in summer either, so I really appreciate this one. Yes, very beautiful. TFS

Nice moody picture,David! Interesting patterns! I am not sure about the rocks at the bottom of the picture,I think that the image could have been cropped without them and that it would have improved the composition. But it is only my humble opinion! You captured a nice moment here with the fog and the light filtering through it! Well done! Michel

Hi David,

It's beautiful and well captured. I like the flow of the composition. Excellent work.

Hello David...
Another excellent foggy landscape on the lakeside! I remember your first posting, maybe this is even better..? Composition wise I like the way you include the rocks in front as they give good feeling of depth and a firm point in all the fog... Well done!
Regards,
Pablo -

Hello David,
absolutely brilliant capture of the fog!!
I just have to agree with Michel (nova) about cropping the bottom! I made a workshop for you! Hope you like it that way too!? :)
cheers
ToM

David, what a wonderful composition! Perfect use of natural framing - bottom and right. I love the wedge of the land dividing the photo into two parts - what surprised me a lot are two different colours of the fog. What could give this blue violet shades to lower part of fog? Just curious! Great work David! tfs

Hi David,
Great shot, wonderful colours, reflection...Excellent work.
Best regards,

Love this one David. You are the master of the foggy scene. There is mystery and the subdued hues add to it. Composition is perfect with the diagonals leading the eye. Great!!! TFS, Paul.

Coooooool !

A real lovely shot with this humidity still covering the vegetation. Show us more of these.

This photo reminds me our TL colleague and your compatriot Spike1 . He is one of our favorite. He really master's these foggy pictures.

TFS,
Robert

Fantastic shot David, well composed, lovely pastel colors and great exposure. The landscape is really impressive, well done!

foggy photo is something you can not ignore

David, this shot is too beautiful. One can see so much - and start dreaming. Tassie's summer fogs are wonderful, certainly for David taking and sharing great photos. I love the different structures in foreground, MG and BG and the different colours of the fog. To actually see a bit of pastoral landscape in the BG tops it all off. Great job. Have a good week and don't work too hard (if you can). Cheers, Cordelia :)

Found this at random. Just love it. Very mysterious (or "misterious"?) - Lord of the Rings could have had a scene there....
I can just see Gollum poking his head out of the mist shrouded water.
Cheers
Otto

another of you early morning fog shots ! but they are always nice and full of atmosphere

Hi David,

Hello David
A peaceful mood emanates from the back-lit fog that shows a dreamy aspect of trees downhill.
Composition-wise, the three horizontal planes are in agreement with the principle of three.
G'day.
Robert

Fantastic David,

Feels like I am catching pearls here, browsing in your album.
Layer upon layer filled with beauty and softly fading in the fog.

Thanks!

Els
