[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lakes Entrance in far eastern Victoria provides the only access from the sea to a large lake system called the Gippsland Lakes (Gippsland is a region of Victoria).

On the other side of these lakes is the open ocean, which meets the coast at an area known as The 90 Mile Beach.

Lakes Entrance and the surrounding area is a beautiful part of Victoria, popular for all forms of boating and water activities.

This young boy was sampling the shallows at the beach.

A picture that for me represent the joy of childhood and how kids are always willing to play and take the world as it. Very nice light within this picture creating lots of sparkling stars in it. Nice silhouette of the boy. Well done!

A nice and great composition Peter! The contrast, monochromie and sharpness are superbs. The 'dialog' of the child and sea is a true poem!

I love the black image against the sparkle. I love the implied exitement I can detect in the actions of the kid. I like the implied vastnest of the water even though there is lttle of it. I thinks it's because it is reasonable uniform. It gives the impression of going on forever without interruption. ... and I LOVE the 90 mile beach. It, and Discovery Bay in the Western District are great vast beaches.
