I had a bit of fun repairing this poorly processed print. Still a bit soft, but the color balance is now a lot better than the original, & the dust & scratches are gone. Lake Mackenzie is a beautiful perched dune lake, on Fraser Island, off the south Queensland coast.

Hi Chris,

The water colours are stunning! Incredible composition! It would be nice swimming there. :)
Very nice POV with sharp detail and great lighting.

For me the colours are good like this. Nice picture, Chris. I would like to go there to fish.

Loads of Love & HUGS,

Hi Chris...
I'd say this is a very acceptable result from a more than 25 years old print! Great composition, with the dead tree in front and the curve of the beach disappearing to the right side... Colours are all right, so are details and textures...
Regards,
Pablo -

again, so good to have a figure, love the comp and those extraordinary colours, thanx, Chris, M, (*_*)

Now we have an evidence that trees can walk out the forest for a little swim! That's very nice!

Lovely compo with the tree in front and the beach .;good job on the pp here although maybe a little more contrast would give more detail here I think ..beautiful place ..

Hi Chris,
Like the type of tree along the lake,
This is realy worndout image. The colors are close to cyaan.

Regardless of any shortcomings of the processing you have managed to present a lovely and colorful shot. As always nicely composed and I like the sinle person included, which gives a point of comparison of the tree sizes.

I'm not clear on a few things. "perched dune lake" - what does that mean, please? I take it that this is salt water, as you say it's off the coast. This tree, then, is salt water OK, even though it looks a little sad.
Either way - interesting beach shot, with the figure making a big difference and the tree providing a lot of foreground interest. Deserted area? Not many tourists?

I'm still dreaming! :)
Thank you over and over!

Colour aside, I like this picture. The tree in the foreground gives some meaning to the whole feel. The trees behind it makes it a bit difficult to distinguish between the fore and background. I would have maybe moved around a bit to see if how I can single out the tree. Maybe against the sky or sea if it must. Otherwide good pic!
