The view from the carpark, at Lookout 579, over the exotic pine plantations surrounding Mount Tibrogargon, one of several extinct volcanic peaks about 60 km north of Brisbane. They were named by Captain Cook in 1770, when he sailed past.

These peaks were last active 20 million years ago. The pines trees are native to the southern United States, but thrive here in similar weather & climate conditions.

Hi Chris...
Quite awesome to see the little red car in all the green... green... green..! Interesting composition, I keep wondering where that winding road will take me..? Very pleasing capture!
Regards,
Pablo -

Hi Chris,

Amazing view and photo!
Incredible bright colours and nice natural light! Great DOF; very sharp details. I don't know, though, about hte car; it attracts my attention because of its colour. I did a WS about that (hope you don't mind...).
TFS :)

Hi Chris,
Very beautiful green photo. The landscape is very beautiful and I like your composition with the road that lead us in the photo and this contrasting red car that is waiting for us to bring us inside this photo. TFS
Luc

I am undecided about the car. Yours?
In, it adds a touch of reality but does it spoil the scene?
As per workshop, Out - the scene does improve to one of perfection. Too perfect?
Undecided. Will ponder.
However, the addition of the frame IS a bonus. About that there is no doubt.
Tomorrow, give us sharks, car chases and bank robberies - all in the one shot.

Hi Chris,
Really nice vista of green. Any wild anaimals in this wilderness? I don't know about the car. On one hand it breaks the monotony but on the otherhand, my eyes went right to the car when I first viewed this. The WS is good too.

Amazing shades of green Chris, the red car adds something not sure what but I do like it.

Peter
