well Chris, first Hi, so, this is really something different!!!!
indeed looks like grand canyon, the clours are as nice too, amazing that is in fact only 1 meter high, hehe, what we all can do with a camera and a good perspective,

Interpretation being the name of the game, this is interpretation all right and a good one at that. Looks cappuccino-coloured so that's a start and as 'coffee rock' is a believable name - it's a 'runner'. A surprise entry as a mini-landscape but it qualifies. Good thinking, Batman!

Very interesting and clever idea!!
I like your shot, as it's so sharp that it's almost visible the texture of the rocks. Nice natural light and warm Earthly colours.

Yeah! This is another way of taking the challenge - kind-of abstract, as coffee is in the name of the rock and could not be drank... Nice thought.
