[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken of my wife who is 7 months pregnant with our first child. We are keeping it a suprise so we dont know what sex the baby is. I am taking the opportunity now to take as many photos as I can to capture this wonderful and exciting moment.

Hi Christopher,
Congratulations!
Antony

Well congratulations! Keep your hard drive clean, you'll need the space especially if this is your first child.
Good photo, too bad the belly button is actually out of focus, it would be more interesting to see it in focus with hands slightly blurred.
Regards and good luck,
Robert

nice shot & good title. TFS

I like the idea a lot. I wish I had taken better pregnancy photos. I wish you could have mustered a bit more DoF though, so the belly and hands would both be in focus. I woudl take another shot at it in the next month. I would suggest either AP mode and aim for f11 or so, or if you can't quite muster f11 with less than a 1/60 exposure, then get out the lights for an f8 and focus in between the hands and belly.
Best,
Mike
P.S. Congratulations -- my 2 kids are the best things ever.

Hi Christopher,

Congrats! Cherish those happy moments and I do hope to see more maternity pictures. Even though tough moments are to come, having a child is THE best thing that can happen in life.

Have a nice day.

Francois
