I liked the graphism, of the sunsail superstructure, at Expo 88 in Brisbane during sunset. The diagonal, repetitive patterns, also attracted my attention.

ooohh Chris, this is a stunning image, it ALL works together so very well, comp, colours, INDIGO AWARD, thank you, Magda, (*_*)

Nice gradient in the sky, and good POV! A different image from you, but one that I like a lot!

Great shot with excellent color gradients and a fentastic usage of straight and curved lines. Congratulations, this is an awesome work!
Regards,
Robert

Very strong graphism, Chris. Love the way the light invade the space of the lines and still leave a subtle shade. Well done, excellent capture.

Great shot. The steel structure against the sky is wonderful. Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!

Hi Chris!!

1988? Wow, looks 'fresh' doesn't it? Excellent caputre, love the patterns again gorgeous sky, thanks for this POV!

Thanks for commenting on my photos, I apprecaite your cirtiques and your help!

Ah - a sunset. A 1988 sunset.
All the usual good words for the silhouette - interesting structure, whatever a sunsail superstructure is. I don't know what it is. Composition is effective with the diminishing repeats - and there are THREE of them, which is always good.
Polarisation/solarisation effect in the sky - intended?
1988 - Camera bust?

Hi Chris,

The framed structure caught my sight as well, and the wonderful orange of the sky. Nicely designed image, TFS.

Cheers,
Marcie

Hi Chris,
Very good photo, beautiful colors
good job.
Deniz.

Hi Chris,
I think you used here a gradual tabac filter (cokin) to realise this effect.
The photo becomes quit abstract. Not really my favourite.

For me it's that incredible orange/yellow gradient that really enhances the shot, Chris. The patterns are nice, though, but I think it would have been better if you had cloned out the structure in the lower right corner as it breaks the pattern.
Just my humble opinion, of course ;o).
