[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While on holidays a few weeks ago, I visited various parts of South-East Australia. You can have a look at some of the photos from my trip, on TrekEarth.
One of the destinations was Sydney and one of the most famous tourist attractions here is the Sydney Opera House. The night was perfect for a good shot. The lighting was gorgeous, the timing was right (just after a performance, hence the people), and the sparkle gave it an extra special touch :D.

This is a good POV of the Sydney Opera House from this area Claudia. The lighting looks good, yes it does sparkle. Well shown, TFS

Claudia this is really a great night capture- I've never seen the Opera House at night and with this close up view- this is really good work! I like this shot very much! Well done!

Stunning photo Claudia! Postcard perfect! I love the lighting, the composition, your POV and sharp DOF - everything about it! I'm not sure about the 4 second exposure you have listed though - that's a long time without getting people blurred in the image. Perhaps it's 1/4 second? No matter - you have presented us with a gorgeous image of this landmark. Bravo!

Impressive shot Claudia, it looks just loely with the black sky and the sparkling lights. Of course the wonderful shape of the roofline is a bonus. I am amazed at how well a night shot has turned out here. I just got my Digital Rebel 350D and haven't tried a night shot yet. I am pleased it can create such shots. Very well done.
