Somerset Lookout is an attractive outlook, over the Brisbane River Valley & catchment area, for Brisbanes water supply into Wivenhoe Dam. The round circuit walking trail is 13 km, through dense subtropical rainforest, & eucalypt forest. The fg tree on the left, is a 'Blackboy' tree, or if you prefer to be more pc, a 'Grass-tree'. Excellent photo!!! I like the viewpoint and the lush colors. I envy you the opportunity to visit such a beautiful place.

Hi Chris,
Great depth in this shot as the eyes wonder to the mountains beyond. Clever use of the Blackboy trees to direct one's line of vision to the sceneries further away.
My last visit to Queenstown was shopping and viewing bungee jumping. Thanks for sharing the beautiful landscape.

Hi Chris,

Breath taking view!!
It's wonderful seeing the world from high... it makes you understand how small you are... :))
Lovely colours and sharp details!
Very well done and TFS :))
