[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Mount Beerwah is one of the Glasshouse Mountains, a group of about 7 extinct volcanoes, 40 miles north of Brisbane, last active 20 million years ago. Taken from Jack Francis lookout, overlooking the exotic pine plantations. This species of pine tree is native to the southern USA, & does very well here, in the swampy terrain.

Hi Chris,
Beautiful texture of the pine trees. Good layering by including the lighter green trees in the foreground. And that mountain in the distance.
Great scenery. TFS.

Hi Chris
Wovv. Very nice photos. Perfect wood.

A really pretty location Chris. The lighting is excellent - the way that the saturation decreases as the eye moves to the back of the photo is very effective.

Merhaba Chris.
Wonderful capture, this is amazing photo.
Thank you for sharing.
Have a nice day, best regards.

Hi Chris,

WOW..! What a view! I don't think I have ever seen so many pine trees! I like the volcano in the background as it gives a good sense of depth.

Well seen & composed :)

Hi Chris, this mount seems to be so high and from your pov, you were even higher! I wonder where you were :)

Very nice with the humidity that we can see.

Cheers, Yan

A very good capture in shades of green. The mountain appears as an island in a sea of green.

P.S. Thank you for your kind comments and wishes.

Wonderful
I love the greens and the mist hovering over the trees I pray that the logger’s don’t destroy it. It’s a beautiful place.
Thanks for sharing it with us

Hi Chris,

Visual, big beautiful picture
closed forest, still virgin.
she reminds me a little Amazonian
for the great amount of trees.
Congratulations

The different colors of green
incombination with the typical mountain
all is in harmony with each other.
