Hi David,
A very stunning photo with beautiful colors and POV. When I scolled down this page I came to see the photo without the bright sun and found the overall photo even more attractive. It gave much more attention to the sunrays and the golden colored ocean. You should see it for yourself. So I feel that cropping of the very bright sun, would enhance the photo a lot.

Ah man, what is it with you David! You outdo nearly everyone with sunrise/sunset shots! This one could quite possible be the best. It looks like God could truly exsist by the looks of this photo. I'm really glad you didn't get any sun flares in the photo, while they don't look bad in photos, it just really wouldn't have suited this photo. All in all a great composition, TFS!

Hi David,

An awesome example of "crepuscular rays" or better known as sunbeams. You have done very well to capture this at it’s' best as they generally do not last that long, as you are no doubt aware. Nice colour and good exposure, which can be difficult to achieve with shots like this. Well done and I have added this to the theme Sunbeams.
