Teewah Coloured Sands is on the Noosa North Shore, about 120 miles / 200 km north of Brisbane. I like the warm cold color opposition here.

Amazing rocks & colors. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.

The perspective is a little dizzying to me. I can't tell truly how big or how far the mound is from the point of the shot or how far it is down to the beach. The color is good though. Blue looks almost a little too blue, but you didn't note any PP, so I'll say that I'm jealous not to be able to experience Australia...YET!

Hi Chris,

Looks like you scored well here! The warm coloured sands contrast very well with the cold blue sea!
Lovely colour tones & detail.

Hi Chris,
Amazing colours. Did you enhance this or are the colours natural?

Weathered red rocks, so pretty, so clear, all the grains show in them. looks like a nice place to walk along the beach!

Fantastic seascape, amazing and vibrant colors. The texture of the rocks incredible and the POV on the spot.
Well done!

What a beautiful shot, Chris. I love that deep brown hues of the rocks. It is not easy to show height in a shot, but this one succeeds in showing it. Beautiful scenery too. TFS.

nice colourful rocks with a rough sea.
the rocks remember me on old films "on mars" :-)
greetz from beautiful Rio de Janeiro

Chris,
Very nice contrast between the red and the blue. I like the sharp edges in the rocks, too. Well done.
Keep shooting,
Aaron

fascinating rocks. Very different colour. The colour reminds me of the dunes in Namibia. Nice contrast with the blue.

Your lighting control here is absolutely stunning. great point of view... maybe I would have clone out the tracks on the beach but still a great shot

Amazing colour combination
Wonders of earth
Very well captured

Chris- I very much am attracted to this image. I was drwan by the strong contrast in colours between the sand and the water. It is very intriguing. It appears that was PP here for the water to be as purple as it is. Your perspective is right on and that there are no shadows on this overcast day truely gave you the upper hand. Nice Job.
David

Hi Chris, wonderful colors. The rocks looks similar to the Garden of the Gods rock...formation, color, texture...:) Vandana

a really good contrast between the brown-red rocks in the fg and the blue in the bg ! maybe the blue is a little too strong, esp. cause its in the bg "!

daniel

very beautifull.. i'll think a little too much colors ..
but faubulous pic
