There is a 'Devils Punchbowl' about twenty five miles from where I live.

do you agree that photos of places to which we are tied emotionally are for some strange reason better than the others? :-) You created here very nice view, looking in some way like intimate shelter - perhaps because the frame is filled with so wonderful objects? You used perfectly each sqare inch of the picture surface. Wonderful one! tfs

Absolutely perfect, David! Gosh, this is gorgeous! Must admit that I laughed a little to myself when I read that you got married "behind the tree." Must have been a very small ceremony. lol

The colors, the shapes of the reeds and plants, the way the tree covers the entire top of the composition - really, really well done. (Can you tell I like it a lot? To prove it, I'm adding it to my favs!)

Everytime I see new photos from the southern hemisphere, I need to realize again that fall has begun. We are just so happy to see some fresh green color that we already forgot about the beautiful fall colors. But, gladly Internet helps us realizing it even more.
