This does bring back strong visions of my childhood and I can almost remember the draw-string bag that I used to carry them around in.
I wasn't so much interested in playing games with them, I just liked the colours and shapes a lot. I used to wonder how they were made ... I still do!
Nicely sharp. Not too many, not too few ...

Yeah! very nice presentation. It's really made me remembered to my childhood memories. When we were child, we don't have money to bought these marbles so we collected them from the Spray-paint boxes and then exchanged them to elastic band or pictures card... even lost them on our games. :(

Ah, marbles, glassies and agates (none here), two sizes, the large named the "shooter", what fun this game was! And even more fun was collecting the pretty ones, trading with my friends for rarities.You have made me nostalgic with this interesting POV, sharply deliniated image.

Hi Alaettin - You have such great, simple ideas and a phantastic way of presenting them. I, too, remember such marbles. One day one of my (few) big ones fell down, rolled across a busy street and into - the gutter. I hope it ended up with some else, who likes it as much as I did.

This luminous composition is a beautiful arrangement of colours, shapes and light. I like it very much. The comment is just as simple and good. Thank you for reminding us of our childhood!

Sigh, how nostalgic.

Alaettin, this photo reminds me of so many things! Everyone at my school in South Africa always had a few marbles in their pockets, or knapsacks... and then we either grew up or, in my case moved away and realized not everyone in the world enjoys simple games like marbles.

Anyways, onto the actual image. I like this quite a bit, though in some parts it is a little too dark, but oh well it's still quite nice! I love all the different colours, which really is the best part about marbles. :) Nice compo, interesting and fresh photo.
