[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This rose is a prayer without words for all the people in the Middle East suffering from yet another war. Reaching out to the surviving as well as to the soals of the dead -

To translate it into words: Many of us are with you, suffering in their hearts. We cannot help you, and that is what makes us even sader. But we can be with you in heart, mind and spirit. We pray for you and for this war to be over as soon as possible. There IS light at the end of this tunnel of war. We can see it and we shall keep the sight of this light up for you until you reach the end of the tunnel to see it again yourselves, too, and to carry it on from there. Until then please never stop believing in it. Many people in the world are with you every day sending you their prayers.

PP: In the above context this particular image is not meant to be perfect(ed). I only re-sized and framed it for the post.

Thank you for your visit.

Hi Cordelia,
It is a lovely flower photograph...!
Very well done on lighting, as the backlight gives a special effect to the shine-through petals....
Good vivid colours... fine details... well framed!
Greetings,

Compliment on this flower and background

Hi Cordelia, I hope your prayers and your dedication helps. I am sad for the innocents who have to suffer, be injured and/or lose their loved ones. No one can win in wars.

Very well done. Take care, Yan :)

Hi Cordelia,
A nice message for people ho desperately need hope. The photo seems kind of crude, which works well in this context. The strong lighting gives the impression there is still light in the darkness.
Well done,
Jako

1.Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn,
2.From the mischief of created things;
3. From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads;
4. From the mischief of those who blow on knots;
5.And from the mischief of the envious one as he practices envy.
