[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Just a little further along the causeway from First Basin IV. The smallest of these rocks would be in the region of 2 m tall. No extra notes today, I am running behind schedule and need to rouse the household.
I will attempt to catch up on answering comments sometime today.

PP Work... removed two powerlines, digital camera noise removal, cropped and framed.

Memory is the same thing on an individual scale.

Hi David
Nice capture, beautiful spot - those boulders are bigger than they first appear! Colours and atmosphere, particularly with the haze top-right, is excellent.

Bravo David,

J'aime beaucoup l'endroit et la lumière est superbe, très belle profondeur de champ.
J'irais bien explorer le secteur.
Merci du partage.
Pierre

Best Regards,
Deniz.

This is what I like, this low possition of shooting adds the right effect here! Sharp from A to Z !
It looks so real that I like to pick up a rock to trow in the water ^_^ Welldone David! Regards

John

Beautiful again. Great soft colors.
But I wouldn't try to throw one of those rocks.
Well done.

  • Hi David,
I like the pleasant feeling of depth you create here!
Strong foreground interest, good diagonal composition...
Nice details in the rocks, interesting angle of light and natural colours!
    Greetings,
    Pablo -

Nice and interesting shoot. I see that the bkgrnd trees are straight so the horizon is good, but this angle makes me get vertigo! I don't know if I'm leaning, falling, or just dizzy! LOL. Yeah, that's kind of neat.

    Hello David
splendide région, la lumière est magnifique un peu de brume dans le fond parfait
bravo et merci de me faire rêver

Just trying to imagine the amount of water that it took to move those bolders is hard work. Pierre, if you wont throw one how about a game of marbles with them?
Thanks David for another eagerly awaited smoko break on the Tassie trip.As always the lovely soft colour, big contrast to our harsh colours out here.
